Amanda Schibline joined the NEC in January 2015 as a Home Energy Squad crew leader. Amanda performs visits, advises homeowners on next steps to improve home efficiency and engages community members about the programs of the NEC. Amanda has a B.A. in International Politics with a minor in environmental policy studies from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. While at UWEC, she worked for the Student Office of Sustainability, managing programs that made the campus more sustainable.
Prior to the NEC, Amanda was an English teacher in Daejeon, South Korea. She can be seen biking around, or walking her dog through one of the many beautiful parks of the Twin Cities.
